What are Skin Boosters?
Skin Boosters use a proprietary hyaluronic acid compound that combines high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid to combat dull, dry, or damaged skin. This compound enables a gradual release of the treatment into the epidermis (the top layer of your skin) and the dermis (the layer below), providing continuous hydration for a more radiant glow. Additionally, the treatment stimulates the production of elastin and collagen, enhancing your body’s natural ability to self-repair and moisturize from within for skin that is supple yet strong.

Do Skin Boosters actually work?
Skin Boosters have been examined and proven in several clinic studies. Anecdotal reports found results to be noticeable and impactful to the tone and texture of the skin. Some patients report feeling as if they’ve finally discovered “that” skin care regimen that makes their skin glow at all hours of the day. The treatment does not provide the same results as botox or filler, so it won’t erase noticeable wrinkles, but it will make your skin look and feel alive again and has tremendous results when paired with other treatments.
How long do Skin Boosters last?
The hyaluronic acid compound stays in your skin for a little under a month, however, it will continue to work its magic for up to 6 months as it boosts the skin's natural collagen and elastin production and strengthens its moisture barrier.
Are there any side effects to Skin Boosters?
Generally, Skin Boosters do not produce noticeable, long-lasting side effects. You may notice some subtle swelling and redness at first, but these symptoms typically lessen within several hours to a day. Some patients may experience bruising depending on their physiology, but this should improve within a few days to a week. If you are still experiencing side effects after ten days, you should contact your medical provider.
How are Skin Boosters administered?
Skin Boosters are administered directly into the dermis, where it diffuses across the entirety of the targeted area. This allows more of the active ingredient–the hyaluronic acid compound–to permeate the areas of your skin that are in need of some extra care and deep hydration. We highly recommend starting with a course of two treatments scheduled 4 to 6 weeks apart for visible results soon after your second treatment.
Are Skin Boosters better than Botox™:Dysport™?
Skin Boosters and Botox™:Dysport™ are different animals, so to speak, and function very differently from a medical perspective. Botox™:Dysport™ has many applications but is often used to prevent or minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Skin Boosters essentially function as a super-charged moisturizer that works deep within your skin to keep it looking smooth and supple.
