Who is Suitable for a Non-Surgical Facelift?

The first thing we tend to notice is a loss of elasticity and recoil of the skin. Some theories suggest the aging process begins at 23, resulting in a 2-3% reduction in hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin annually. Any patient experiencing aging and volume loss is suitable for this treatment, where we place the product varies from person to person depending on their specific aging status.

How Can a Non-Surgical Facelift Help Me?

By your late 20s, you might start noticing lines and wrinkles between your eyes, across your upper forehead, and the appearance of dreaded crow's feet. For these areas, we use dermal fillers to restore volume loss and allow for anatomical restoration of previously hollowed areas. Sculptra, an injectable product made of Poly L Lactic Acid, is a powerful collagen stimulator. It's incredibly effective at increasing your own tissues' production of collagen and elastin. When used in conjunction with dermal fillers and Anti-wrinkle injections, it's an excellent tool in the non-surgical facelift treatment.

Is There Any Downtime with a Non-Surgical Facelift?

The treatment is quite quick. Generally, the appointment, including treatment, takes about 20-30 minutes and is tailored to the person's anatomy. Unlike conventional surgery, injectable treatments have little or no downtime. Swelling and bruising are the biggest factors to consider; a bruise can last for 5-10 days, and swelling typically subsides after the first 24-36 hours. This is because dermal fillers are hydrophilic compounds that attract water. Dermal fillers last approximately 9-12 months. Anti-wrinkle injections starts taking effect around 3-6 days post-treatment and lasts about 3 months.
